The local Amish craftsmen in the central Illinois area are not only known for their country style furniture. Over the years they have excelled in the crafting of Queen Anne and Mission Style furniture.
Queen Anne style tables are usually known for their elegant sweeping lines and curves. Also for their use of cabriole legs. Queen Anne furniture is usually crafted out of smooth grain woods such as cherry or walnut but can be made out of standard hardwoods as well such as oak and hickory.
